| Breaking News |  | Las Vegas Gamblers Ship Dominguez to Pittsburgh
Monday, June 26th, 2034: Reports have surfaced that Las Vegas has agreed to send 34-year-old reliever David Dominguez, 20-year-old minor league reliever Wallace Thomas and 22-year-old minor league shortstop Elijah Thomas to the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for 24-year-old minor league reliever Clinton Johnston. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team.
So far this year Dominguez has delivered 2 saves. In 19 relief appearances he has 10 strikeouts in 19.1 innings with a 3.26 ERA and no wins and 1 loss.

 | Maldonado and Gregory Dealt
Monday, June 26th, 2034: Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Las Vegas Gamblers and the Texas Rangers. In the deal Las Vegas got 18-year-old minor league center fielder Carl Jones and 19-year-old minor league starting pitcher Phil Gregory from Texas and dealt 27-year-old starting pitcher Orlando Maldonado and 25-year-old starting pitcher Jorge Serrano to the Rangers. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned."
For the year Maldonado has a 0-1 record with a 6.19 ERA in 1 starts.

Monday, June 26th, 2034: It was announced today that Arizona center fielder Winston Duvall has been acclaimed by the National League as the Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week.
Duvall posted a .500 batting average as he collected 14 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs.
For the year Duvall is hitting .332 with 10 home runs. His stats include 40 runs batted in and 50 runs scored. |
